Reading and Leeds: Jimmy Eat World, Gogol Bordello to headline Lock Up

Reading and Leeds Lock Up stage will be headlined by Jimmy Eat World and gypsy-punk outfit Gogol Bordello.

Jimmy Eat World will close the stage, curated by Radio 1 Punk Show DJ Mike Davies, on Friday at Reading (Saturday Leeds) whilst Gogol Bordello will finish proceedings on Sunday at Reading (Friday Leeds).

Previously announced American rockers Of Mice and Men will headline The Pit stage on the remaining day, which will be curated by fellow Radio 1 DJ Daniel P Carter.

Queens of the Stone Age lead singer Josh Homme’s wife, Brody Dalle will support Jimmy Eat World, whilst Frank Turner will once again appear at the festivals, this time with side-project Möngöl Hörde under Gogol Bordello. Architects will support Of Mice and Men.

Also appearing on the stage across the weekend are Baby Godzilla, Letlive, Issues, Eagulls, Touché Amoré, Wovenwar, The Wonder Years, Slaves, Pup, The Front Bottoms, The Skints, Neck Deep, Basement, A Wilhelm Scream, Dave Hause, Every Time I Die, Marmozets and The Flatliners.

Reading and Leeds have previously confirmed headliners Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, Paramore and Blink-182 as well as Vampire Weekend, Jake Bugg, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Disclosure and many more across the August bank holiday weekend.

A further 30+ bands will be added to the bill on Huw Stephens Radio 1 show at 7 this evening.
